What you should know

- If you're curious about Docker, this course is for you. This course is an introductory course so no previous programming or shell scripting experience is required. You'll need a computer, internet access and a terminal for most of this course. Although no terminal experience is required. I'll guide you every step of the way. I'll be using a Mac for most of this course. If you are a Windows user, I recommend using PowerShell. If you're on Linux you most likely already have a built-in terminal. You'll also need a code editor if you would like to create and push your own Docker image to the Docker hub with me in chapter three. Video Studio Code, Atom or Sublime Text are some examples of great code editors you can use. You can also use an IDE like IntelliJ or Eclipse, and that's it. If you are ready to learn Docker, let's get started.
